What are the Advantages of Epoxy Floor Coating
Epoxy is a chemical resin with adhesive properties, first discovered in Germany in 1939. It is used in the construction industry as well as in dentistry and medicine. This product, which has high resistance to water, acid, and alkali, has mechanical and chemical resistance. It binds to both sides of surfaces, preventing stretching and helping surfaces adhere. When applied as an adhesive, it transforms from a liquid to a solid state, achieving the desired hardness in a short time. This material, frequently used in the space, aviation, and maritime industries, gains mechanical durability when used with glass or carbon fiber in floor coatings. Its prices are quite economical for filling cracks, installing steel reinforcements to be added to concrete, and repairing floors. First used in dentistry and medicine, then in the construction industry, epoxy is a surface coating product used as paint and primer. This product, which has very high mechanical and chemical resistance, is also used in various sectors such as space, aviation, and maritime. It helps create a seamless and jointless floor.
What is the Purpose of Epoxy-Based, Two-Component Solvent-Free Primer
Tardigrade EPST 100 is used as a solvent-free primer and impregnation material for interior and exterior spaces, on concrete and cement-based mineral surfaces, on normal and absorbent surfaces, and for priming epoxy or polyurethane floor coatings. This low-viscosity, solvent-free product fills voids in concrete, helping structures become stronger. Epoxy floor coating prices are very reasonable for use as a filling and repair mortar on surfaces requiring repair. This product, which is very easy to apply, can be applied to the desired floor in a short time. This product, which puts less load on the building compared to other floor coating products, has an anti-static structure. Since this material is impermeable to liquids like water, does not accumulate dust, and is very easy to clean, it provides you with a more hygienic and anti-bacterial environment. Epoxy floor coating prices, which offer a stylish look without any seams, vary according to the size of the floor to be applied.
