What are the Documents Required for a Work Permit

How Many Days Does the Work Permit Take?

If the Ministry requests additional information and documents, an additional 15 days are given to complete them. The Ministry, by using its discretion and considering all documents, issues the foreign employment permit within 30 days at the latest. A certificate of no debt must be obtained from the tax office. Documents such as the SSI personnel list, fixed-term employment contract, and the balance sheet and profit and loss statement approved by the tax office or certified public accountant for the last year are requested from companies. Documents requested from foreign nationals for a foreign employment permit include a passport-sized photo, a color photocopy of the passport, a color photocopy of the residence permit card, certificates from a sworn translator, a letter of reference, a curriculum vitae, and, if married to a Turkish citizen or having children, a photocopy of the population registration record.
