Intestinal Gas Problem
Intestinal gas is a problem experienced by many people. Our eating habits have a great effect on intestinal gas. Therefore, it is beneficial to know which foods cause gas.
Those with gas problems should definitely stay away from spicy foods. Foods with mint, thyme, or black pepper can cause gas. Care should also be taken not to consume acidic liquids such as vinegar. Cabbage is also among the gas-producing vegetables. Arugula and leeks are also among those to avoid.
Legumes can also be in the gas-producing group. The most common ones are chickpeas, beans, and lentils.
Change Your Eating Habits
Gas problems are not solely dependent on food. Problems in intestinal functions can also cause gas. Likewise, changes in the amount of bacteria in the intestines are among the factors that cause gas.
Poor nutrition also causes gas. Irregular and unhealthy eating habits, or fasting for a long time, or eating suddenly and in large quantities are some of the factors that cause gas.
Eating quickly, talking while eating, swallowing food without chewing enough, and sighing also cause gas. Sour foods, spicy and acidic foods are also among the foods that cause gas.
