Caring for Sensitive Skin
Many people worldwide are starting to have sensitive skin. This can be due to climate, unhealthy eating habits or foods containing additives, and incorrect skincare routines.
Sensitive skin dislikes extreme heat and cold and reacts sensitively. It can overreact to incorrectly applied treatments. Spicy and hot foods can cause problems on the skin, and alcohol can also have an effect. Redness and discomfort can occur due to sun exposure and sweating. Stains may be visible. Changes in skin tone due to stress can be observed.
Use Products with Moisturizing Properties
Most sensitive skin has a dry structure. Its ability to retain moisture is reduced, making it easily affected and prone to redness. Peeling or flaking may occur. Therefore, the ingredients of skincare products to be used are extremely important. Products that calm the skin and provide natural moisture should be preferred.
Antiseptics that soothe redness and wheat germ oil can be used. Products with a soothing effect on irritation should be chosen. Bisabolol derived from chamomile oil is also effective for burning and itching. Panthenol can be used to ensure the skin retains moisture. Products containing glycerin also increase moisture. Products containing Arnica can be recommended as an irritant reliever.
