Turkey Will Turn Back Its Clocks
We Will Be Equal With The World
Due to our country's election agenda, our clocks, which we did not turn back with the rest of the world, will be turned back one hour on the eighth of this month. We are pressing the button in two weeks to reach an equal state with world times. What benefit has this waiting period, interpreted as necessary or unnecessary, brought? This is a highly debated issue. However, the end of the matter has come as of this week. With the clocks being turned back, the aim is to extend the use of daylight. Thus, energy efficiency is increased and savings are achieved.
One Forward, One Back
Nowadays, the concepts of night and day have diminished. All work continues comfortably at night. This is an implemented practice for both advancing and setting back the clocks. Electricity savings remain at a very low level. Therefore, is setting the clocks one hour forward and then one hour back truly beneficial or not for our present day?
