Success and Failure for Children
Why is my child failing?
There are parents who drown in thoughts like, Why is my child failing, why aren't they very successful in all subjects, why aren't they first in class, why aren't they like their friends… and are constantly focused on their children's successes.
We evaluate our children based on their performance in class and their report cards; their report cards are indicators of success. If all subjects on their report cards are good, we describe our child as successful and ideal, otherwise we believe we have a problematic child, think we are unlucky parents, and become unhappy.
Every child has a different personality.
The report cards in children's hands are more about the parents of that child than the child themselves. And it is the report card of the teacher who teaches that child. And even more than that, it is the report card of the national education system that prepares books and lesson notes for these children to receive education.
Please read your children's school books, look at a few sample questions, and see if you could solve them at that age.
Every child has a different personality. Children with different personalities are subjected to the same education system. Of course, we cannot expect them all to exhibit the same attitude. We cannot hold our child accountable for the education system.
