What is a Presidential System?
Not a day goes by without an agenda taking center stage. In our world, where different events occur every day, we currently have an agenda like the presidential system. Will a different form of monarchy be established with the presidential system, where the will of a single person elected by the people will be everything? Or will it truly be entirely for the benefit of our homeland and nation? This is an unknown but risky equation. Mustafa Kemal Atatürk stayed away from the presidential system, saying, "What happens if one day the people elect a madman as president, and he declares his sultanate?"
The Most Beautiful Form of Governance is the Republic
The people determine their own governance by electing a different number of deputies instead of one person. This way, different ideas and structures can express themselves. Before a mistake is made, a system called the opposition comes into play. Although this situation complicates some good things, a dictatorial imposition of "my way or the highway" is never experienced.
