The Automobile Fair held in Istanbul captivated attendees. Among the cars that garnered the most attention at the fair was the Ferrari F12 berlinetta model. Ferrari, which is also offered for sale in our country, greatly excited enthusiasts. The company that distributes the Ferrari brand, which is also sold in Turkey, stated that buyers are lining up for Ferrari, which is produced worldwide with the highest technology and comfort. It was also announced that the sold Ferraris will be delivered to their buyers in November 2013.
Mustafa Bayraktar, the president of the Automobile Distributors Association in our country, announced that the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV) also affected automobiles in 2013. A meeting was held before the Istanbul Auto Show 2012 car fair. It was announced that significant contributions would be made to the promotion of the Turkish sector both domestically and internationally.
At the exhibition, nearly 500 vehicle models from 45 famous car brands were displayed together. Touching upon the ÖTV increase, Automobile Association president Mustafa Bayraktar recalled that the ÖTV rates increased from 37% to 40%. He stated that there was a slight increase in sales. Furthermore, according to research, it is estimated that approximately 840,000 vehicles will be sold this year.
